What the AI Act asks of your chatbot
Article 50 has applied since August. Six questions about one tool, eight if it generates content, and this page returns the duties you owe, who carries each one, when it is due and the sentence to publish. The answers stay in this tab unless you ask us to email you the result, and an account is never needed.

AI Act transparency check
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50
A scoping result produced from the answers given on the page. It says which conversation you are in. It is not legal advice, and it is current as at the date it was printed.
This is a scoping result worked out from your own answers. It tells you which conversation you are in. It is not legal advice, and it is not a determination that you comply.
What was answered
Optional, and nothing in the answer depends on it. It goes into the wording you can publish, and onto the result if you print it.
Answer them all and the duties appear here.
Keep this result
Save it as a PDF or print it. It carries your own answers, the duties that follow from them and the article each one comes from, so it is something you can hand to a board, a client or a procurement team. Printing sends nothing anywhere and we never see it.
This covers Article 50 only
Transparency is one part of the Act. It says nothing about whether a system is prohibited, whether it is high risk, or whether you have taken the measures Article 4 asks for on staff AI literacy. It also says nothing about the GDPR, which applies to the same systems at the same time.
We keep the full record for clients: every AI system in the business, the role you hold in each, the duties that follow, and the evidence that they were met. Read the deadline that moved and the one that did not for the rest of it.
