FourWinds Portal

The portal collects figures that already exist in the systems a business runs, and puts them on one screen. A client can see what they spent on advertising this month and what came back from it, how many people visited their website and what those people did, which invoices are outstanding, where each piece of work stands, and which data protection obligations apply to them.

Each client sees only their own organisation. Access is granted by us when an engagement begins and revoked when it ends.

The portal requests access to two Google services, and only on behalf of a client who has authorised it for their own accounts.

Google Ads. Scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. We read campaign, ad group and keyword performance: impressions, clicks, cost and conversions, shown to the client whose account it is next to the sales and enquiries those campaigns produced. One client account is connected today. It is read once a night by a scheduled job and at no other time, and no account is read unless that client authorised it.

Google Analytics. We read sessions, users, page views, traffic sources and tracked conversions for the client’s own web properties, and present them as a written report.

We read. We do not create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, budgets, keywords or ads through the API. Changes to a client’s advertising are made by a person, in the client’s own account, after a conversation with them.

Google data is never sold, never shared with another client, never used to build advertising audiences, and never used to train a machine learning model. It is shown to the organisation it belongs to and used to write that organisation’s reports.

A client can withdraw access at any time from their own Google account, and can ask us to delete what we hold. Nothing in the portal depends on us keeping data a client has asked us to remove.
