About the role

FourWinds Digital secures, connects and runs the systems Irish small businesses depend on. Our compliance work runs on our own software: the evidence scan, the CyFun scoring, and the client portal that holds each client's compliance record, jobs, scans and evidence pack.

Businesses buy from us when their insurer asks about two-step sign-in, backups and email protection at renewal, when a customer sends a security questionnaire, or when they hold personal data and want each gap closed on record. You find those businesses, in person first and by phone, and bring them to a signed order. We write the proposals, run the scans and do the technical work.

What you will sell

Free compliance checkFree
About four minutes online. The owner answers a few questions while we check their website and email from outside. They see which of 19 laws apply to them, what we found, and the three jobs to start with. Most of your conversations will start here.
Email protection€450 once
SPF, DKIM and DMARC set and enforced, so inboxes reject or mark as spam fake email sent in the client's name. Offered when the scan shows DMARC missing or not enforced.
Data protection record€650 once
A privacy notice that matches the website, the written record of processing, and the access request and breach procedures, kept on the client's compliance record. Offered to businesses that hold health or other personal details.
Secured and proven€2,950 up to 10 staff, €4,950 for 11 to 25, €7,500 for 26 to 50
Our main programme. A dated scan from outside, then the six basics fixed whatever the scan saw: email protection, cookie consent, the privacy notice, two-step sign-in on every account, a tested backup restore, and an incident plan practised with the people it names. Then a second scan, a score against CyFun Basic, and a dated evidence pack for the insurer's renewal and customers' security questionnaires. What the client paid for either first step comes off it within three months.
RunFrom €450 a month
We keep the work proven: a weekly scan, any check that starts failing reopened as ours to fix, and the client's compliance record kept current in our client portal.

Responsibilities

  • Build your own pipeline: research, call and visit businesses with 5 to 50 staff every week, such as GP and dental practices, pharmacies and professional firms that hold personal data.
  • Meet insurance brokers and accountants with our partner pack, keep those relationships going, and follow up the introductions they make.
  • Open with the free compliance check: run it with the owner, walk them through what it found, and recommend the product that fixes it.
  • Present the proposals we prepare for the businesses you bring in, answer their questions, and follow each one through to a decision.
  • Keep your leads, meetings and follow-ups up to date in our CRM.

This role may suit you if you

  • Have sold to small and medium businesses, preferably face to face.
  • Are comfortable starting conversations with owners and practice managers you have not met.
  • Can learn the basics behind the products, such as email authentication, two-step sign-in, backups and a GDPR record of processing, and explain them plainly.
  • Are organised and self-motivated, and plan your own week.
  • Live in Ireland and can travel to meet businesses, brokers and accountants.

It also helps to have

  • Experience in insurance, accountancy, IT or security.
  • An existing network of business owners, brokers or accountants in Ireland.
